Giving to SHS Scholarships. Perhaps this is the year that you can make a difference in the lives of others. Cash. Securities. Gifts of life insurance. Other assets like real estate or property.
Year End Giving
As the year comes to a close, it is time to reflect on the past and plan for the future. Perhaps this is the year that you can truly make a difference in the lives of our new SHS graduates through a charitable gift. No only will you feel good about your philanthropic actions, you may be rewarded with tax benefits too.
Here are a few ways that you can contribute to the SHS Scholarships:
Cash – Charitable gifts are most often made in the form of cash and checks.
Securities – Making gifts of stocks, bonds, and/or mutual funds in the right way can bring extra tax savings by avoiding capital gains.
Gifts of Life Insurance – You can contribute a life insurance policy to us by naming the SHS Scholarships as either the policy owner or the beneficiary.
Other Assets – You may own real estate or other properties that could be an option for charitable giving.
See our Donor form at www.SHSscholarships.com. Speak with Horton Hobbs at The Springfield Foundation to determine how your charitable gift can most benefit you and the SHS Scholarships.
