SHS Scholarships Program Update
• • • • •
It is hard to believe that another year will be coming to a close in just a few days.
I was planning to wait until after our April 15 tax deadline to start sending out friendly reminders about 2013 donations to the SHS Scholarships Program. Then, I began receiving donation requests over the past three weeks from Ohio State and Penn State. So, I said to myself, what the hey. If my esteemed institutions of higher learning are sending out year-end requests for donations, Why should not I. So, here we go.

Contributions the SHS Scholarships Program now total over $8,500.00, down a bit from previous levels of giving. We would like to reach $10,000 in 2012.
With one or multiple donations of $25,000 or more this year, we can begin to award much needed scholarship funds for members of the SHS Class of 2013.
But for the generosity of past and future annual donors like you, we would not be able to help provide our new SHS graduates with a quality education and more skills to succeed after high school.
Please help us continue our new tradition by supporting the SHS Scholarships Program.

Mail your 2012 donations directly to The Springfield Foundation. Please mark them for the SHS Scholarships. Deadline is 12/21/12 for 2012 tax purposes. See address below.
